Day 48 - Tuesday, 1 March - Lancelin

Morning walk to the dunes of Lancelin.

White dunes, man and Ocean - where is the man ?

A lazy uneventful day with a bit of reading, washing, melon/ham for lunch - and a late walk back to the dunes.  

Lancelin is small, the dunes immense, the biggest in WA.

Supper at the nearby hotel with view on the setting sun.  What a treat to enjoy a surprise meal with oysters, ovenbaked fish (Barramondu, I think) and even a dessert.  

But the wind is too strong and evenings as well as nights are too cold.  

Therefore we will go inland tomorrow to spend a couple of days in the Avon valley ( a-von, not ei-von).
